Arak Science & Technology Park

With 20 years of experience, Arak Science & Technology Park (ASTP) is now a leading science park in central Iran. ASTP’s main aim is to increase the wealth of the community by fostering the culture of innovation and promoting the competitiveness of its associated businesses and knowledge-based enterprises. To reach these goals, ASTP tries to enhance and manage the flow of knowledge and technology among universities, R&D institutions, companies and markets located in the region. It assists in the creation and growth of innovation-based enterprises through incubation and spin-off processes; and provides other value-added services besides high quality space and facilities.

	The mission of ASTP is to provide value-added services to knowledge-intensive enterprises engaged in fields with relative advantage in the region, aiming to assist them grow and promote in order to increase wealth in the community.		ASTP’s vision is to create an environment where technology can be promoted in the province. This will be possible by providing value-added services to entrepreneurs and industrialists in the region.

Priorities and activity fields of ASTP

Our priority is the development of technology in the fields of chemical industries, manufacturing and production of industrial machinery and equipment, ICT and automation, aluminum industry related technologies, agriculture and environment. We also support activities in technical and engineering fields as well as basic sciences and medical sciences, nanotechnology, biotechnology, medical equipment manufacturing, and pharmaceutical drugs production.
