Introduction to the Markazi Province Science and Technology Park

Due to its industrial nature, the presence of experienced specialists, and a young, educated population, Markazi Province is an ideal location for establishing a technology park in Iran. With proper planning and guidance, it has become one of the successful and top-tier parks in the country.

The Markazi Province Science and Technology Park began its operational activities in September 2002, based on the approval of the Higher Education Development Council.

As defined by the International Association of Science Parks, a science and technology park is an organization managed by professionals. Its main goal is to increase wealth in society by encouraging and promoting a culture of innovation and increasing competitiveness among companies and institutions that operate within the park's environment, relying on science and knowledge.

The mission of the Markazi Province Science and Technology Park is to provide high value-added services to knowledge-based companies and institutions active in areas with a comparative advantage in the region, with the aim of their growth and development, ultimately increasing wealth in society.
